About me

I’m Alexander Rehnman, and I was born in 1997 in Västerås, Sweden. Since 2016, I live in Linköping, Sweden, where I work as a translator, mainly focused on English-Swedish translation of gaming-related texts. (Note: I’m a full-time employee at a translation firm, not a freelancer, so I’m not looking for work right now.)

Gaming in all its forms (mainly video games, but also board games, tabletop roleplaying games and such) is one of my biggest passions, and I also help run the Swedish gaming site Loading.se where I occasionally write game reviews. Beyond gaming, I enjoy reading and writing, as well as trying out various other hobbies, such as brewing kombucha, growing plants or cross-stiching. I’m not very good at sticking to a hobby, though, but it is fun to try new things! I also enjoy programming, but I do it very little these days. Web development isn’t my strongest suit, but I wanted to get my website back up, and to keep it simple this time.

I’m also engaged in a few different associations in varying capacities, and it’s great fun, even if it eats up a lot of my time.

The main purpose of this website is for me to share what’s going on in my life, unburdened by algorithms and everything else I dislike about social media, and find an outlet for things I have no outlet for elsewhere.
